To thoroughly implement the important expositions and instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on work safety, firmly establish the safety concept of "putting people and lives first", and closely focus on the theme of the "Work Safety Month" – "Everyone Pays Attention to Safety, Everyone Can Respond to Emergencies – Identify Safety Hazards Around You", China MCC successfully held the 2025 emergency drill for crane injury accidents at MCC Steel Structure on June 28. This drill was hosted by China MCC and undertaken by MCC Steel Structure, aiming to comprehensively enhance the enterprise's emergency response capability in dealing with crane injury accidents, further strengthen the safety awareness of all staff, and effectively ensure the safety of staff's lives and property as well as the stable and orderly operations of the enterprise.

This drill adopted an exercise mode, simulating an emergency situation on site where a hoisted object collided with a steel beam, causing it to crush workers. It covered five key links: "accident occurrence, emergency starting, on-site rescue, casualty treatment, and response termination". During the drill, the on-site command system operated efficiently and coordinated smoothly, while all emergency rescue teams worked closely together, successfully rescued the injured personnel. All operational links were closely connected, forming a scientific and orderly closed-loop of emergency disposal. This fully demonstrated MCC Steel Structure's professional capabilities and efficient execution in responding to emergencies.

It was pointed out at the event that due to the intensive lifting operations in the steel structure manufacturing field, safety risks have always been high. Politically, we must profoundly understand the core essence that safety and emergency is vital to the enterprise's lifeline and staff's well-being, and effectively translate the vigilance of "being always on guard and treading as if on thin ice" into pragmatic actions of "taking targeted measures and ensuring absolute safety". We should comprehensively consolidate the foundation of work safety management with an attitude of striving for excellence, with more stringent standards, through more thorough considerations, by more refined methods, and in a more down-to-earth work style. We should resolutely build a solid barrier for risk prevention, make continuous breakthroughs in safety and emergency and achieve new results to lay an indestructible safety foundation for realizing MCC's goal of "One Creation, Two Top Titles, and Five Strengths".

It was demanded at the event that all units should take this drill as an opportunity to deepen the construction of the emergency rescue system and enhance drill capability; improve the dynamic management mechanism of emergency plans, and promptly revise and optimize the content of the plans in light of new risks in the industry and the application of new technologies to ensure their scientificity and operability; strengthen the synergy efficiency of emergency command, pool internal resources, enhance joint drills with external units such as fire departments and medical institutions, and build an efficient emergency response network; vigorously promote grid-based management of grass-roots safety responsibilities, refine safety responsibilities to specific posts and implement them to individuals. Through measures such as popularizing safety knowledge and rewarding hidden danger inspections, stimulate the enthusiasm of all staff to participate in safety management to truly realize the goal of "Everyone Pays Attention to Safety, Everyone Can Respond to Emergencies", and improve the long-term mechanism for work safety.

Over 80 participants attended the drill, including personnel from the Work Safety Supervision and Management Department (Emergency Management Department) of China MCC, safety-related leaders in charge, safety directors, heads of safety departments, and emergency management staff from MCC Steel Structure, China MCC20 Group, Shanghai Baoye, MCC Baosteel Technology, and their affiliated tier-3 companies, as well as safety-related leaders in charge, safety directors, heads of safety departments, project managers from Shanghai regional branches and subsidiaries of China MCC5 Group, MCC Tiangong, China MCC17 Group, MCC Construction Engineering, and China MCC22 Group, and representatives from Luodian Hospital.
