In the afternoon of January 13th, MCC President and Party Committee Secretary Guo Wenqing met Derui Theme Park Investment Company Chairman Mr. Anthony Rodham at the MCC Mansion in Beijing. Both parties conducted an in-depth conversation concerning further accelerating the promotion of the DreamWorks Theme Park Project, and reached a consensus on expanding their cooperation fields and cooperation space on the existing basis.
Guo Wenqing welcomed Mr. Rodham to MCC and briefly introduced the Group’s basic information, pointing out that the MCC Group is one of the Global Top 500 Enterprises, a state-owned innovative enterprise and the world's largest and strongest contractor of metallurgy construction and metallurgical industry operation services; it also possesses over 53,000 scientific research engineering technicians, as well as 17 national-level sci-tech innovation platforms and national-level key laboratories. Guo Wenqing also pointed out that China is currently paying more and more attention to environmental protection and green construction. As the DreamWorks Theme Park has a huge market in China, he hopes that MCC and the Derui Theme Park Investment Company will be able to further quicken the promotion of its construction based on their previous friendly cooperation, forging it into another landmark model project as soon as possible.
Mr. Rodham thanked President Guo Wenqing for his warm reception, expressed admiration for MCC’s excellent brand concept and style of handling affairs, and briefly introduced the basic situation of the Derui Theme Park Investment Company. He pointed out that the Derui Theme Park Investment Company was set up by two closed family funds in the USA, and has collected a number of commercial authorities in Hollywood, Wall Street, and theme park investment, operation and management.
