On December 30, 2015 MCC Vice President Zhang Mengxing met Standing Committee Member of the Zunyi Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor Wang Zubin. Both parties conducted a thorough exchange of views on highway construction in Zunyi, and witnessed the signing of an EPC construction contract between the MCC Traffic Construction Group and the Zunyi Traffic Construction Investment (Group) Co., Ltd. for the Zunyi-Suiyang Highway Line Extension Project.

Zhang Mengxing expressed his thanks for the warm reception of Vice Mayor Wang Zubin and briefly introduced the MCC Group, pointing out that the Zunyi-Suiyang Highway Line Extension Project is the first cooperative project of both parties to break ground. The MCC Group will carry forward its simple yet profound spirit of 'Never delaying and never slacking' in order to practice the agreed items, focus on its superior resources and strengths in the construction of an excellent project, and promote the arrival of more cooperative agreements in wider areas including underground synthesized pipe galleries, large-scale venues, traffic and municipal infrastructure, and steel structure manufacturing, all in the pursuit of mutual benefit and win-win development.

Wang Zubin pointed out that the cooperation of the Zunyi Municipal Government with the MCC Group indicates that the rapid transportation infrastructure development of Zunyi is already supported by nationally or even internationally advanced technical strength, which will definitely guarantee the achievement of rapid development and boost the transformational and spanning development of Zunyi's society and economy. Based on this project cooperation, he hopes to adhere to mutual benefits and win-win results, deepen pragmatic cooperation, and realize wider, broader and more effective cooperation development with MCC.

After the talks, Chairman of the Zunyi Traffic Construction Investment (Group) Co., Ltd. Fu Zhongmo and General Manager of the MCC Traffic Construction Group and General Manager of MCC Group's Guizhou Branch Geng Yansheng signed the EPC contract on behalf of their respective parties.

This project constitutes an essential section of the 678 networks in Guizhou's Highway Network Planning, as well as one of the ordinate lines in the 'Five ordinate, Four cross, Nine interlinks and Two ring lines' in Zunyi's Highway Framework Network Planning. With an overall length of 46.933 km, it will greatly facilitate the construction of large channels, improve the traffic conditions of poor areas, strengthen economic trade in western Zunyi, and play an important role in the development of Zunyi's economy and society.

This ceremony was attended by Secretary General of the Zunyi Municipal Government Liao Haiquan, Chairman of the MCC Traffic Construction Group Zou Honglu, Director of the MCC Investment Management Department Yang Kui, Director of the Domestic Market Development Department Zeng Jianzhong and Vice General Manager of the MCC Traffic Construction Group Wu Dang.
