On March 8th, MCC Group and MCC Party Standing Committee Member and MCC Vice President Wang Shilei visited Xilingol League in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to pay an official call to Party Committee Deputy Secretary and Director Fu Wanhui. Both parties held a friendly exchange on commonly boosting project cooperation in such fields as the traffic and municipal infrastructure of Xilingol League, and reached a broad consensus.
Wang Shilei thanked Fu Wanhui for his warm reception and briefly introduced the current situation of MCC Group's development, pointing that MCC Group is the world’s biggest and strongest metallurgical construction contractor and operation service provider for metallurgical enterprises. In recent years, MCC Group has implemented its new strategic positioning of being the ‘national team of metallurgical construction, the main force of capital construction and the pacesetter of emerging industries, insisting on taking the road of high-tech construction in the long term’, and has succeeded in achieving transformation. Traffic municipal infrastructure, high-end housing, large-scale stadiums, environmental projects, urban underground comprehensive pipe galleries and so on have become the new backbone businesses of the group. In 2016, MCC Group was honored as a Level A Enterprise in the 2015 Operating Performance Assessment of Central Enterprise Principals, and it ranked 290th in the Fortune Global 500 Enterprises.
Wang Shilei said that MCC Group and Inner Mongolia have a favorable cooperation foundation. In recent years, MCC Group has carried out a batch of significant projects in Inner Mongolia, of which the Tongliao-Lubei Expressway is a representative example. The cooperation of both parties has acquired good effects. MCC Group also pays close attention to the market development of Xilingol League and is willing to give full play to the strength of its all-round industrial chain and full life circle services to actively make more contributions to the economic and social development of Xilingol League.
Fu Wanhui welcomed the delegation led by Wang Shilei and briefly introduced the basic information of Xilingol League. He fully affirmed the performance and brand of MCC Group, and expressed his hope that MCC Group will give further play to its strengths in such aspects as talents, technology, management and funds. It is necessary to reinforce the connection between both sides and accelerate the landing of project. He also suggested that both parties should sign a strategic cooperation agreement as soon as possible.
After the meeting, Xilingol League Deputy Director Meng Zhaojun led the relevant departments of Xilinhot City to conduct on-site communication with the MCC party, and introduced the significant infrastructure projects planned to be commenced and built in 2017 in such fields as municipal administration, highways, aviation, tourism and so on. Both parties reached a consensus on cooperating in such fields as aviation, highways and underground comprehensive pipe galleries. They were unanimous about taking on projects including Xilinhot Airport, Zhenglan Banner Airport, Dongwu Banner Airport, national and provincial highways, tourist highways and urban underground comprehensive pipe galleries as their entry points, thereby commonly advancing the progress of their cooperation.
